Christmas is an act of love. Do you realize that? I think so. When God promised to save His people, He sent His only Son to come. Why? Because He loves us. He is then willing to sacrifice His Son on behalf of our sin. This is an act of love. Love must be acted. Without action love is just a word. Nothing. No meaning at all. In a couple of days, I found a teenager…probably a young adult wrote a poem. When you have finished reading it through, you can understand why love should be followed with actions to be understood, to be meaningful.
I should have been asking these to you
How is your day?
How have you been?
Right now I am looking at your photograph
asking these stupid questions and wondering what will be your answer to me
but I have noticed it
yeah, you should have another man to say it for you
someone who cheers you up in times you cry
someone who gives you his shoulder when you cry
someone who never let go off your arms
someone who replies to your messages
someone who picks up your calls
someone who does what I have never done before
I pray hopelessly that you will be happy
Watching you day by day
Truthfully, I spoke to myself that you were happy
Honestly, I struggle to pretend that I was okay
Truly, I do care for you
but I never say it..
Now, it is almost christmas time. We understand His love for us so that He sent His Son. Every Sunday, every day we say that we love Him. Through this love we love our friends, other people of the same or different race, age, sex. What have we done to show that love? Words are not enough. Actions are necessary. Say it , show it, do it.

O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me, and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
